This book delves into the endeavours that typically can only be experienced, taking you personally through the adventure. Der Großteil der Beschäftigten arbeitet jedoch abseits der Öffentlichkeit: in den Schächten, hinter Bahnhöfen, in abseits gelegenen Stellwerken. Sie schweißen die Schienen und warten die Waggons, sie sind Sandbestrahler und Bahndepotwächter. Nun bekommen wir sie zu Gesicht. Der Fotograf Matthias Koslik hat die Arbeiter der Berliner S-Bahn auf eindrückliche Weise porträtiert.
